10. small G Foreman grill
Honorable mention :
Indoor/Outdoor thermometer
Custom grey water tank

Re: What are the top 10 best things you've added to your SMB?
I love this thread. I keep coming back to it so I can figure out what major mods I’d like to do. A lot of stuff I’ve never heard of so it helps for my research. I haven’t done much in the 2 months I’ve owned the van but here are some things I have done. I don’t know if you would consider some of these mods, some of them are things I've subtracted, but I’m going for 10. Here we go:
10) Replaced cracked Pro-Comp Xtreme rim with sweet, old, white replacement rim from the junkyard. 5 wheels, 3 different style rims…Who’s Xtreme now?
9) Sharpened that dull axe on the front along with the shovel and pick in the Max tool kit. I actually used it to chop some firewood the other day...
8) Took out Microwave. I don’t even use one of these in my house so I figured I didn’t need one in my van. And I use the extra space to store all my camp dishes, pots, pans etc. I think it is a much better use of space.
7) Took out Sony 10 disc CD changer. Anybody want to buy one of these dinosaurs?
6) Uninstalled, and sold, Transvision A5 satellite receiver.
5) Uninstalled indoor shower. The shower hose is still long enough to reach outside, so that’s good.
4) Installed Hi-Tech cassette tape aux. jack converter for Ipod and Satellite radio (when I get a new subscription).
3) Tinted the windows on the back and barn-doors. I have to give myself a pat on the back here. I’ve now tinted the windows in 3 of my vehicles and over the past few years I think I’m actually getting pretty good at it. I only screwed up one in the SMB and you can hardly tell because the spare tire covers up the part that got creased and bubbled. Good job, me.
2) Installed new Thule roof rack, cross bars and threw my cargo box and bike rack up there. Looks good and gives me a place to throw my snowboard and gear.
1.5) I thought of one more thing after I typed this up. With the help of John K. I rewired the sure power battery separator so the alternator will actually charge the coach batteries while running. Seems like it was hooked up wrong when I bought the van. As you may expect, since doing this I have noticed a huge difference on the X battery monitor. Thanks John.
1) Got rid of the Porto-pottie (I never want to deal with one of these things).

Ha, that's funny...Just imagine the crappiest, crackled rim off the oldest 8 lug ford truck in the junkyard...That's it...And it is actually my spare, I have the factory gray one replacing the busted, "xtreme" rim...But once the gallery is up and running again I'll post some more pics...

Well, knowing what I know now, I'd install a Fantastic Vent. Have on in our camper is its the cat's meow.

Re: What are the top 10 best things you've added to your SMB?
Ours too came pretty much the way we wanted it and so can't list what we didn't add but I will any way with an *. Since we are new owners I am sure this list will grow.
Some favorites:
1. *Backup Camera
2. Memory foam 2.5 inch for penthouse.
3. Fold up step to get in/out of van and up to penthouse.
4. Deluxe box- so our bikes can go on top of it. (Anyone need a baja box? )
5. Vanity mirror inside pantry door.
6. Indoor outdoor thermometer. (so nice and warm inside!)
7. Rugged chains that will fit a 315 tire and are easy to put on!
8. Petroglyph Stickers
9. *Navigation system & XM radio
10. Micro-fleece sheets for bedding. Awesome for cold weather camping.
(This is a girly list- I am sure my husband would list 10 other items!)
