We considered the induction , and glad we didn’t. We went with the microwave unit that works great. We went with the butane burner that we bought at WestMarine works great, we mainly cook outside.

The biggest mistake was the tv monitor , in 3 years used it twice for my granddaughter - to tal waste of money

No other regrets

I put 295\70\17 duratracs on (Quigley with RIP upgrade) and then needed to downsize to 285's (whioch I knew in the back of my mind was the initial right choice) to minimize clearance issues at the front fenders and getting the sliding door to clear everything - now need to sell the duratracs and take a loss on then

The Joey Pack spare tire cover. Just figure anything you might store inside of it will be stolen within a week. My jumper cables and tow rope were recently stolen from mine in my own driveway.

Bummer. I usually travel with a Trasharoo but have never had anything taken from it. I did have a solar shower taken from my roof once. Bastards. I'm still bitter!

Biggest waste of time and money was using Reflectix to insulate the inside of the van. It did keep the inside a tad warmer than nothing, but not much more.

I recently tore it all out, and used 3M THINSULATE, and covered it with LOW-E (EZ-COOL), which looks like Reflectix, but is far superior. Under a torch, it does not melt like Reflectix does, and it does not off-gas. The inside of the van stays much warmer, like 20°F warmer than the outside.

Only time we ever use the ac or microwave is if we stop where they have hookups. When we are in hot country like the deserts from California to nevada to Az it gets too hot to sleep .In the desert its always been in the sun so its alot hotter than the stated temp. My wife likes gamblin so they usally have ac hookups for travelers. Laughlin on the Colo River was one that had free ac for rvs a few years back. It used to be free there and other desert places.. We have a dog so it has worked out. However I never trust any electrical device especially if you leave your dog alone in it. Thats when its going to occur

I had thought you could use it while running the engine. Not so. You have to either be plugged in or have a generator. But who wants to be camping in places where 30 amp power is available, or have a noisy generator running non-stop?

It also takes up a lot of what could be storage space.

On top of all of that, it is not even very efficient at cooling a hot van even when you are plugged in!

HUGE waste of money. . .

Ed

Edit: I forgot to mention that it is LOUD!
