Wire routing

I'm planning on wiring up some new rock lights on my Bronco, and to make it easier to route/secure the cables, I picked up these zip tie mounts. Unlike most zip tie mounts, these are magnetic, so on my old Bronco, there's plenty of steel that I can use, where the standard adhesive-based zip tie mounts would never work.

These are very small mounts (about the same diameter as a dime), but have a 16lb holding strength. There are also larger, stronger ones available.

I can see where those would be handy in a number of different applications. There a little spendy, but oh so easy, and the adhesive won't melt. Nice.............

As a self-proclaimed wire routing nut job these are very nice!

Yes a bit spendy but since they're sold in lots of 10 pieces it doesn't seem too bad.

Thanks for sharing these Herb!

I think that would mean you need a new permit Dave.

So you're saying better late than never?

In the time since these were first posted I've not (yet) encountered a place they could be utilized---and trust me I've tried!

Good stuff!

Those are pretty cool too---I've seen them in larger sizes as well for securing larger wiring harnesses as needed.

Good find!
