I just see another all black van baking in the summer sun. I confess I had to look up what that graphic was from, I always thought it was a law enforcement thing. Apparently, I'm much more a science person.

but it's not what rockets are built for.
That's a nice looking van, the graphics significance completely lost on me. I'm assuming its something controversial to some degree and almost 100% certain not intended to state any political or ideological bend of the owners, probably something they just thought was cool. It is----for the moment anyway........
So what's the details on the rest of the van, the parts NOT associated with the graphics and license plate?
I like it. I think the Punisher had an awesome van on the TV series, and this looks like inspiration. A good friend of mine that was in the first Desert Storm as an army ranger is a fan of the Punisher motif.
I suspect a lot of the folks on here like a lower profile (like our vans do not stand out already, hah) and would feel the same about an A-Team van homage, but it looks well done.
As a huge fan of the Paris to Dakar rally, I had this graphic on the back window of my truck, but unfortunately, it seemed to attract some unfriendly attention from folks who had no idea what it represented. I finally had to remove it after the wife got some of that unfriendly attention. Hopefully, your daughter does not have a similar experience.
I wouldn't do it myself, but I actually kinda like it and I don't think it's overdone. It's got kind of a zombie apocalypse look to it & I agree that the graphic fits the personalized plate. I'm not familiar with the logo or where it comes from, so maybe that would make a difference, but I try not to read too much into stuff.
