I'll get a picture up this weekend. Yep they plugged right in to the factory wiring, easy job. Full power functioning including integrated turn signals. I didn't have to do anything special at all to them.

Hopefully this will give an idea of the mirrors. Quick photo while I was out today. I can try and grab something better this weekend.

A common issue on IFS rigs, particularly heavy ones, is the tendency to bend tie rods at times. Quigley has an answer for this now with an HD full replacement option. Installed today, pretty easy, much more beefy than what they replaced. Sorry should’ve probably taken a before and after.

Been awhile but this little project I did over the weekend relates somewhat to the last one. Lifted IFS rigs in general but particularly ones that get used offroad and have some torque can tend to be hard on front cv axles. I wouldn’t say I go through them a lot but seems I do have to replace them every few years. I’d been thinking about trying these out for awhile and my driver side finally needed to be replaced so I went for it.

Local Autozone had them in stock and the guy checking me out said that they are guaranteed for as long as I own the vehicle….ill likely be putting that warranty to the test but for now the price was more than fair and they fit right in as they should. They allow for more articulation and for the axle to expand more in theory making easier on the gears.

Hey Whith, curious how these are working for you? I have a 2008 and looking for less length in my CV and this looks like a good option. Feels like when the arm is all the way down, the wheel doesn't rotate as it should. The only thing I can figure is the axle is too long. I have my torsion bars cranked, rolling 265/60/20 wheels. They rub some on turning into a dip in the road.

These have been working great for me but to be honest I have pushed them offroad much since I installed them. I did one trip early fall where they got to experience some slow crawling with some wheel lifts pitches and performed as expected. No issues with onroad driving at all and the van handles well and turns well in tight areas and sweeping corners. I’m pleased. I don’t think I’ll really know how well it’s gone until it’s been a few years at least.

Thanks WhitH,

Having the 08, the diff end of the CV is not the right size. I think they went smaller at some point.

Still on the hunt for a shorter CV. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, it has been helpful reading all your posts.

Quigley should be able to tell you which diff you have and what half shafts work.
