90 seconds in the hills with the van....

Thanks for the messages from a few of you about the audio missing. Corrected and reposted. Not much audio but did fix it.

Spent a few hours in the hills on mild roads testing everything out this last Sunday...YouTube video below:

I like it. Is it 1-sec time lapse?

Re: 90 seconds in the hills with the van....

I doubt it was intended, but the scene near the end was hilarious. First, the SMB starts up the hill. Then two bikes show up and turn off to the right. Suddenly, the two bikes come flying back down the hill. It's almost as though they met the SMB and fled! Then the SMB comes back down the hill as if to say, "And stay out!"

I like the story line BlueSprinter! I might have to edit the clip where the van stops at the peak for a second or two as it surveys the land.

Wow, compressed like that is almost enough to make me dizzy in a couple of spots.

Most bikes (with any sense) would run from a big, bad SMB!

Re: 90 seconds in the hills with the van....

I hear you Mike on the dizzy thing. I was crawlng the whole time so iit would have been about 30 minutes of video uncompressed. You would have been napping instead.

Those guys were semi pro riders and could ride up my hood on their trials bikes which would actually be interesting to see.

Going to the desert tomorrow for the day and will probably shoot some more video.

AWESOME!

Do you mind me asking where in San Diego?
It looks familiar, I just can't place it...

Time for a video with a camera mounted to that beautiful roof rack. Might make for an interesting perspective.
