Almost one year anniversary for sportsmobile pick up
I have it! Sorry it took so long to post, but I wanted the pictures too. It's been a busy year and my technology skills haven't improved so I had a hard time getting the pics from my phone ... hope I can "stumble into" getting them posted like the last time. I pretty much stuck to the build plans that so many of you helped me with your opinions on. Manual penthouse with bed, L dinette, 4E fridge, sink & cabinet but no water system, a/c, solar controller but no panel yet, small closet, TV with stealth antennae and cable hook-up, inverter and 2 batteries, and luckily a 36 foot power cord so I can charge it from my house. Everyone at Sportsmobile Indiana was wonderful! They gave a great orientation even though I was so tired I could barely take it in ... they came out to the campground to help me with a few things I forgot and were very nice about it. Thanks again for all who helped with information and opinions. If the pictures come out, that's my mom after dry camping at my aunt's house near Lake Anna 10 days before the Virginia quake.

Re: Almost one year anniversary for sportsmobile pick up
For me, time has flown by since the Christmas of 05. What a thrill its been even though it has been heavy on the pocket book. Hope you enjoy your van as much as I have.
Now back to figuring out what else I can add to my van

Why don't you ask Mac? He may be done spending money on his van, but he can help you spend your money on your van.

Yeah but I can't afford a high roller from Vegas, that's for sure.

Re: Almost one year anniversary for sportsmobile pick up
8 years last week for me!!!
I had it clayed, waxed and detailed today. It sure is shiny!
It's a ton of fun but I wish I didn't work so much so I could use it more but then I couldn't afford it.
Life is short - no regrets!
