That's awesome! I have the 6.0L... any chance you could send me the computer data lines for the 6.0? I'll look into it this wknd if the rain takes a break...

I also decided to change the name (again) from AmboEvo to "Hambo", it works better with my Ham radio call sign... VA7PIG

You're not that far, why don't you just swing by? There's another cool camper getting converted by my neighbour as well plus a couple oldies Econolines

Glad it helps!

Anyone uses air ride seats in their van? Haven't seen it done before which means I gotta try it!

Found one used on FB marketplace for much cheaper than any aftermarket seats and I'm giving it a go! If i can pull it off it will be an awesome and comfy ride!!!

Cheers

David, I've wanted to do this ever since I started driving heavy trucks. Unfortunately I only have a pickup nowadays. Once you go to an air ride seat there is no going back! You have to have a flat floor and enough space for range of movement though. Most air-rides I've driven bottom out unless you have the head room to get them up high enough.

There are LOTS of options on these in truck world though. If this one doesn't work out any heavy truck salvage yard will have lots of them at good prices (OEM removals usually).

Hey, on that porch light you got, is it as bright as the pics on the website show? If so I must have one!

My main concern with an air seat was hitting my head to the roof. Fortunately I'm not tall and at full extension I should just clear it. I can also pre-set the height so it doesn't bottom down so I think it will work.

But man, that seat is so comfortable! Even without air it still a huge improvement!

For the side light I haven't tested it yet but will let you know. In my case I hope it's not too powerful, lol
