Transit Penthouse Top - Mid-Roof OK ?

Greetings Forum Members --

Anyone know if van conversion companies - in particular SMB Texas - can install motorized penthouse tops on mid roof Transit ? Indiana SMB can only install penthouse tops on low roof Transits.

I would like to reach out to Colorado Camper Van regarding this topic - but no one has picked up the phone there to answer my calls made last Friday or today Monday. Are they in the fire zone out there in Loveland ? That might explain no calls returned !?

Are there any other reliable RV conversion companies out there someone has first knowledge/experience with for tops and interior builds ?

Stay safe out there !!

It did! Got me thinking how nice it would be to have all this extra light full time!

And sorry Doublevan2, no idea but maybe someone will check this thread and reply to your post. Good luck!

Very, very cool----that's one creative idea to be sure.

Reminds me of the older train cars with the "vista" seating.

As a fan of old Volvos (I have a 1800ES in my collection of projects), I approve.
