Family of 7 Quick Trip

We looaded up our AWD Express for a quick run. Crestline to Joshua Tree to Johnson Valley to Lucerene. Nice little run, the van always does great. I think I've convinced the wife that $2000 for a roof rack is necessary.

Accidentally found this spot 1.5 hours from our backyard. A rock climbing meca with no signs off highway you wouldn't know it was there. My brother said we used to go there climbing as kids but I don't remember.

I think that actually qualifies as a clan

I also think you're gonna get the Ok for the roof rack

Looks like a great trip. I think that one's going on our to-do list.

Nice! I’ve got a crew of 7 also that I drag around in my Express. A roof rack definitely helps with all the stuff.

First thing that came to mind when I viewed your earlier photos:

Come and listen to my story about a man named Jed
A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed,
And then one day he was shootin at some food,
And up through the ground come a bubblin crude.

Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea.

Well the first thing you know ol Jed's a millionaire,
The kinfolk said "Jed move away from there"
Said "Californy is the place you ought to be"
So they loaded up the truck and they moved to Beverly

Now that's funny, the middle boy's named Jethro too! Call him Jet for short. No influence of the show or the band, though he is thick as a brick..
