Re: Full Body Wrap

This is getting even more interesting. They didn't have all these new type of wraps a year ago. This is getting good.

I now found another type of wrap but it's a roll on paint job wrap!

Check it out: http://flxpaint.com/gallery.htm

Re: Full Body Wrap

It looks great on toddroberts rig! I am impressed! I am all over this but how long does it last? I would hate to wrap the rascal & have the stuff blow off in a few years or fade. I want my dollars worth....Can you say "Tight Wad"! Woot................

Re: Full Body Wrap

woot,

I have two of my business vehicles "wrapped" with advertising and logos...The wrap last about 3 years and is pretty dang durable. We take ours through a car wash all the time. Edges are the first to go, but they can be fixed. When the wrap is peeled off the car looks brand new(we wrap new cars)...I pay about $1400 to wrap a Toyota Yaris locally here in the Portland area.

Re: Full Body Wrap

i was looking over some older threads : )

nice rig with the full wrap. If my wife would let me i'd be all over the camo since i have a whole closet full of those real-tree shirts.

Someone asked "how long does it last"...when reading the instructions on our 3M hood wrap material it suggested removal after the third year but before the fourth...and a life expectancy of four years in the weather for their product we put on our hood. About 8 month's in heavy rain on the oregon coast at it still looks new.

cheers,
thom

Re: Full Body Wrap

If I had the balls to do it I'd love to do a snow camo skin over my whole van.

Re: Full Body Wrap

Yes, pretty close but something to break up the white like this would look cool

but people already stare too much.

Re: Full Body Wrap

Who would have thought snow camo was so popular?

When I bought my van it was snow camo-painted- (with a huge wolf on the side)- It definitly turned heads- I had it painted darker green snd it still turns heads (with less head scratching and yee-haws!) and hides better in the summer camping.

On a side note- the green is much warmer in the summer heat compared to the snow camo.

I would like to see a full body wrap that gave the appearance of a typical SUV- so the SMB could fly under the radar- at least on the highway or at a quick glance
