German Sprinter Outfitter

Hi

I thought some of you might be interested to have a 360 view of these nice little German rigs:

Main site:
Click on the models and then again on the pics to get 360 views... The "Independent" is a 4x4 by the way...

Hope you enjoy

Re: German Sprinter Outfitter

Thanks,

They really look good. What I like the most is the large square windows that open from the bottom. They can really make feel like you are outside and they would let lots of air and light in. I THINK they are normally double pane? The sky lights in the fixed tops also is a nice feature.

Re: German Sprinter Outfitter

Hi LenS,

Yes those windows are good and lift high to let the air in...
I must admit I don't know if they are double pane... I will look into this...
I guess it would depend on models and prices...

The sky lights are common over here and very popular, some have fans in them too like yours...
I have been thinking and thinking about some of these features for my van... but only thinking

What I would say about the Eurovans is they somehow lack style... I would slap in a couple of windows in the tops at the front "Roadtrek" style to give them a better look... but this is my taste

Re: German Sprinter Outfitter

You know, I think I saw an Independent model (or something like it) at Lake Mead near Las Vegas last March.

The owner was from Austria and said it was a 4WD Sprinter.

Re: German Sprinter Outfitter

Ed yup that'll be a 4x4 Sprinter all right

Not sure it is the "Independent" though as it doesn't have the rear side bulges for the bed area...
It could be an older model though...

I quite like the 4x4 Sprinter but need the V6 diesel engine to push all the transmission and stuff along decently...

Never driven one though... the price is a bit of a drag though... Mercs are just plain expensive...

Re: German Sprinter Outfitter

I missed the bulge on my first look.

Not sure I would want the refrig. under the bed.

Eurovans is they somehow lack style... Ah, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

Have anyone bought and read John Steed's "Travel Vans"??? I bought it a few months back and really enjoyed it and al that Euro styling. ...... Ah, the grass is always.....
