Haha, I wish I had more funds to throw at it! I really need to get a roof rack so I can free up some room inside, but I think a trailer hitch is next up so we can take bicycles.

That would be the inlaw suite. I was trying to convince them that they needed a camper van of some sort. Although that tent also had a double tall, queen size aerobed, so they were nice and comfy in there. You can see it in its carrying case leaning up against the front passenger side tire.

Re: Got our rig! 1995 RB30 2wd...

Camped a couple nights at El Capitan State Beach near Santa Barbara this weekend. The weather was perfect and the grounds are pretty nice. Can't beat the location or the sunset!

We were also really able to utilize the "30" layout this camping trip. My wife's mom and grandma stopped by on their way through and we all ate dinner inside the van. The gaucho sat 3 of us comfortably and one person on the passenger seat swiveled towards us. Didn't get a picture of dinner, but I was really happy with how comfortable it was with us in there.

I thought that might be dinner sitting on the curb under the van!

Ha! That little chubster is living the good life at the campgrounds. Came real close to us to find nuts and things around the site.

I read some reviews on Yelp about the train but I really didn't find them disruptive at all. Maybe its because we live in SLO and you can hear the train from anywhere in the town.

Great looking van and it looks like you're having a good time with it Hope to see you at one of the meets in the future. So when does the 4x4 conversion start?

I wish I had funds for a 4x4 conversion! With the type of camping we do, I definitely don't need 4x4, but it would definitely open up a lot of different camping adventures if we did have it. If there is a 2wd friendly meet taking place, I will do my best to make it!
