Jets...

Just finished up photographing jets last night and could not resist pulling the van in for a quick pic.

Re: Jets...

Now that was unusual... love side-by-side van comparisons with other vehicles, but that has to be a first.

Thanks

Re: Jets...

I really like the pictures and perspective. Is that Brown or Montgomery field?

Re: Jets...

And hey, a private jet makes an SMB look affordable. Nice photos!

Re: Jets...

Palomar Airport.

Thinking next weeks shoot I'll throw a red carpet out in front of the van and show a couple getting off the jet and into the van. Much better than getting into a limo.

Qualcomm parks their jet next door. Maybe I can get them to play along.

I only have about 30 seconds to get these shots in-between the ground crew moving another one in position for the next shot.

Love to have a little time to really set up a shot with the van in it but time is money. There are usually 5-6 ground crew and the pilot waiting around for me to finish.

Re: Jets...

Bad ass. Goes to show what real photography looks like. Unfortunately my van is so screwed up with pin stripes it wouldn't cut it for a photo like that.

IIRC, jets are measured in gallons/hour. Come to think of it, that's not too far from an SMB measurement, esp. in 4wd.
