No thanks...I had a 79 Dodge with the Super-Six, Slant 6 engine...It had a conversion package from a company called Viking, I think...Something like that. Raised fiberglass top, Ice box, stove, sink, bed that pulled out into a couch and the interior was near mint. It had 18,000 original miles on it when I bought it in 2003 for $300. The van had been sitting for a long time and I thought I got the deal of the century until everything that could break broke...Engine work, transmission, brakes, exhaust, carb., intake manifold, exhaust manifold, exhaust, linkage you name it...I put a ton of cash into this thing, drove it to Utah and back (where I had to replace the radiator) and said, "No more..." I took a huge loss but ended up selling it to a bluegrass band for $1500...They took it on tour for a while but last I heard the drive shaft broke and the guy sold it for scrap metal...Good riddance. So I stay away from Dodge's these days...

Was the band named after the van?

I think they had the name before they had the van...But both go well together...
