Let me introduce myself - bphin, aka Bryce Phinney

I've been on the site for a few months trolling around and reading about everyone's rigs. But I thought I'd officially introduce myself now that I have the SMB I've been searching for. My name's Bryce Phinney. I live in Tucson, AZ. I picked up my new (to me) Sportsmobile on Thurs in Reno, NV, and drove it back to Tucson. Details are as follows:

1996 Ford E350 w/ 7.5L V8 w/ 55,000 miles
Quigley 4x4 conversion
EB48 layout
2-burner propane stove
Furnace
Starcool A/C
2-cf refrigerator
microwave
20-gal water tank
Onan 2.8kW generator
Porta potti
Rear hitch
Yakima tracks on the roof for rack mounting

I do a lot of mountain bike races and Xterra offroad triathlons, and travel all over the west to ride mountain bikes. One of the best parts for me is the space in the back of the rig, where I can store my bikes inside. It also has a receiver hitch if I wanted a hitch rack, and it has Yakima tracks on the roof where I can mount a Yakima rack. I already have the rack since I had the tracks on top of Toyota Tacoma and kept all of the mounting hardware.

I look forward to learning from the MSB community and meeting folks with the same passions for the outdoors and camping as I have. Let the fun begin!

Very clean looking interior. Sweet looking ride. Have you thought about adding something to break up all that white exterior paint? I bet Bushwacker fender flairs would help the look a lot.

Sweet van! Congrats!! I didn't know you could get the driver's seat to swivel with the transfer case shifter next to it... It looks like yours spins 90 degrees. Are there any clearance issues with the shifter?

Nice rig Byrce! If you don't have a bike rack for your hitch yet check these out.

Pricey, but nice. http://www.1upusa.com/product-quikracksilverdouble.html

Perhaps we ought to plan an AZ-SMB meetup for this fall

Yep, it swivels past 90 degrees, but I only swivel it to the 90 degree position. No clearance issues with the t-case shifter when it's in 2-hi, but the seat hits the shifter when it's in 4-lo. I'll take a picture this weekend and post in my gallery showing the clearance.
