Re: Lucky

Congrats! You got a real gem. I would have traded mine in for that in a heartbeat. What is your old van you're now going to sell?

Old van is 2001 Quigley 7.3 with poptop but nothing inside. So I'm pretty familiar with this drivetrain.. [edit: old van is sold viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13302]

Re: Lucky

I'm sure money in-hand didn't hurt making a deal. I had a few people try to make a deal before having their cash and/or financing in hand. Fully financing a used SMB, via a financial institution, is just about impossible.

So, you're going to be selling a 7.3L Quigley conversion. Maybe you'll have potential buyers lined up too.

After he spent a while trying to make the first deal work from a distance, he specifically told me he wanted to deal in person with no financing. Bully for me I live 20 minutes away and had the funds.

Yes, it'll be posted here once I have some time to clean it, adjust the emergency brake, and swap some bumpers. At least a couple weeks. It'll be a great home build platform for someone.. 4x4 with poptop and empty interior. [edit: old van is sold viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13302]
