New Owner saying hi!!

Hey everyone,
Just picked up my first SMB an 05 w/ 25k on the ticker. Previous owner kept this thing in amazing conditon. I love the way it drives, very comfortable. Looking forward to chatting with you all and learning a few things.
Here are a few pics.

This van will primarily be used to tow my Jeep. Its not exactly street worthy anymore. A few of the Jeep.

Congrats on the new purchase!

I tow my XJ with my SMB too and have been real happy with it. I like the cage in your XJ-where did you have it done?

Congratulations. I'm sure you'll enjoy the new van.

The awnings are made by Fiamma. Among other places Northwest Expeditions carries them.

If you want to go the offical route you can get the brackets from Sportsmobile. I'm betting Aluminess makes the brackets for them, though. You might be able to get the direct.

Welcome to the club!
Since you asked about awnings, I'm thinking of taking mine off. It's 5 months old, I've never used it, and I'm headed to Austin tomorrow to talk to SMB about removing it. I'd put it in classifieds, but since you mentioned it. Also, I'm probably going to be out of computer reach. My laptop is giving me grief and I have to rely on the library, etc. but while travelling it could be difficult. I'll be home on Sunday or Monday and on line at that time. Let me know.
