Only once have I seen that many stars so clearly----Taos NM back in the late 70's---spectacular.

Living in a bigger city such sights just aren't available.

Great shots! What kind of camera? Auto set? Or did you manual set aperture etc...Were you out for the Presidio? We are in IOWA and had the storm blow through a few days ago and took out power for a lot of the state...IT WAS A HUGE TREAT to head out and NOT have the city lights polluting our view...thanks for the shots!

Sigma fp camera

TTartisans 11mm f2.8 lens

25 second exposure

Pretty simple stuff really and I am not using a tracker. The skies around central Oregon are stunning, these were taken in the Ochoco national forest. We were doing some dispersed camping then rolled into Walton Lake campground and got lucky and found one open site where I took these pics over the lake.
