Lock the hubs??? I'll admit it must have been an uncomfortable moment

But been there done that with my work truck while I was in 4x4. Guy brought out a tractor about that size and while trying to pull me out stuck the tractor. He got pissed and walked off saying he'd be back. I heard two large shop doors open and here came one of these:

So what is so cool about the John Deere? I have one of those and I am always using it to pull stumps out?!

Re: ohhhh, the money

He can use that map to mark where the rig gets stuck if in fact it was stuck.

daveb,

A few years ago up in the hills on a friends farm, a Land Rover Discovery got stuck, so John went up to his shed and got a medium sized Caterpillar, that got stuck, so he went back to the shed and came back with a monster Cat like the one you pictured and with chains, pulled both out at once. This all took a couple of hours though. At the time, John, Emeco, was The Caterpillar Dealer for Western Australia. He just happened to have a couple up at the farm, along with 4 Quad bikes for his grandchildren, a Rolls Royce Corniche, Trail Bikes, and a man made lake with its own beach for Wind Surfing. Unbelievable!

Re: ohhhh, the money

They are alluring. I think a $90,000 Winnebago with a jeep on the back is a better choice. Maybe the All Terrain Warrior for half the money, but it needs more power.
