Looks like we went for the same type of habitat !
Grasslands are beautiful, but under appreciated.
I was in north central Montana, along Missouri river.

I’ll camp in any area. The more remote the better. We enjoy them all.

That pic wasn’t someplace we camped. That was just where we stopped to unlock the hubs. That pic was on the way out from this spot.



The only humans we saw for 4 days was a couple of utv’s owned by friends that know my stash. They would join me, but they chose campers that cant go into that spot. We’ve yet to find a fire pit down there, and we camouflage ours when we leave.

My spot was 40 mi from nearest paved rd. It is just so nice not to see or hear anyone else
