When I bought my first new vehicle, the 2000 Wrangler, I felt the same way and paid for "Jeep 00" in Indiana. It was approved and all but I never got the plate. In 01 when I went to renew they wanted another $45 even though I'd never gotten the plate- by then the 00 wasn't as cool so I gave it up.

Haven't thought of anything since except I don't think SPORTSMOBILEFORUM will fit on a plate...

When I bought a new GEM car, an all electric neighborhood vehicle, my license plate was HA2OPEC.
Sure am eating those words now.
It was a great car though, I put 4K miles on it in a 30 mile radius in Berkeley.

I had a 935 PORSCHE in 79 that came with a plate that read PUFFIT and this vehicle still runs this plate .

I hope I haven't jinxed the Triple Crown race next Saturday for my favorite, but I just got my license application accepted by Texas for BIG BRN (only six letters to play with in TX). If he wins, hooray! If he loses, my van will remain big and brown anyway.

AAAGGHH!
How could it be that my pick to win the Triple Crown, and in whose honor I have purchased a Texas license plate, BIG BRN, have come in last at the Belmont Stakes?!
Not only that, but last! (thankfully, not LITERALLY, dead last).
Such is the racing life.
Well, no matter. My van is still BIG and BRN.

cellularSteve......

I find it hard to believe that they would not give you the plate you requested, especially seeing this plate several years ago during a visit in CA. Whoever makes the decisions for the DMV must have been asleep at the wheel for this one.

This was was on a 300Z that some chick was driving.

SEAUNT

i have to admit that it took me longer than 3 seconds to get it. now i got it though. i wish i'd seen the driver........

Took me two days and the help of two friends to finally get it. So don't feel bad.
