Being he's now sporting Land Shark beer as his signature brew instead of Corona in his Margaritaville bars, that would be a good name for his west coast van.

"Land Shark"

Maybe I'll get a discount to Margaritaville. Jimmy are you out there?

That's the East coast van (green) the white is the West Coast van. JB had/has a nice 4x4 syncro westy (or something) in the same forest/mint green. Not sure if this one is going to stay white.

It's kind of like the 7 1/2 foot tall 3 eyed space alien on The Venture Brothers, walking around screaming "IGNORE ME!" the whole episode...

Jage, the cats.... I mean the vans out of the bag! Sorry JB.

Like you I think he will camouflage this one with that light green color so no one in the US will know who owns it.

Buffett's pre-SMB ride was an Adventurewagen, a VW Vanagon with camping conversion done in Fort Bragg, CA. They are easily recognizable by their 18" hightop, very similar to the SMB Voyager top. Buffett's (and ours) was the all-wheel drive Syncro version.

When Buffett had his first SMB built, he had SMB acquire the mold for the Ford Adventurewagen (after VW stopped importing the Vanagon, the compnay went to Fords and re-designed the top), which is why the green Buffett SMB has a unique top.

Here's a link to Margaritaville and you can see some photos of Jimmy Buffett's Sportsmobile, or otherwise known as the 'Green Tomato'.

I think this makes him automatically responsible an annual SMB BBQ of some kind. At least a 2 for 1 in his restaurants.

And a new song: "Wasting away again in my Sportsmobile!"
