Pics from my Pre-owned SMB Pick-up and drive home!

Well, we finally pulled the trigger! We picked up a pre-owned (sounds better than "used" as John from SMB says) this last weekend. Here are some pics from the drive home from CA to CO. A three day trip felt like a weeks vacation!

Better get used to this...

Morning!

We can't wait for our next adventure this weekend!

Congrats on your new rig. What a good looking truck! The rainbow is certainly a sign of good times to come for you, especially at great camping areas like that one. Nice dobies, too.

Thanks! We're very excited that we took the plunge!

I see you're a Rover guy as well as a Sportsmobile-ite. I sold my '72 Series III 88" and '95 Defender SW to finance this truck but I think it will be worth it. Sure will be strange not having a Rover leaking oil in the driveway anymore. How can I tell if I have fluids in the SMB if they are not leaking?!?

Attempted to make expedition worth but just didn't cut it.

Gone but definitely not forgotten!

Congrats. Pre-owned maybe, but hardly even look used. Very nice location shots.

Very nice, looks clean as heck. Specs man, give us specs!

I figured I'd review this on SMB PO site, but I don't seem to see it... did you find it thru some other venue, or did you get it before it became public?

I picked her up off of the classifieds section here. I've had prior conversations with John from SMB since we had a diesel RB50 on order until this purchase and they have been great to deal with. (If anyone is interested in a red RB-50 4x4 diesel, it should be ready on their New Stock website in 2-3 weeks)

Our specs are as follows-

Triton V-10 with 36,800 miles. Silver/grey, leather captains chairs, Quigley 4x4, 12k lb. Warn winch, Road Armour bumpers, Hella off-road lights, bushwacker fender flairs, 2500 watt inverter, refrigerator, penthouse top with zip down windows, Pioneer DVD/CD changer with Diamond Audio Sound System, 15" monitor for dvd, propane furnace, starcool a/c, agm house battery, swivel captain's chair, 10 gallon fresh water, sink, 30 amp power panel, gfi outlets, outside gfi, microwave, city water hookup, grey water tank, porta potti, locking cabinet, awning, full shades, xl storage, locking gun/electronics locker

We will be adding solar, billet grill, and nerf bars/side steps here in the next year as well.

Took a wonderful drive up to Steamboat this last weekend to do some flyfishing and it just keeps impressing us more and more!
