Great campsite pics LenS. I've been to all of those places except for Michigan. But the Boundary Waters is close enough. Matter of fact I think we camped in that very site or the one next to it at Grand Coulee - Franklin Roosevelt National Recreation Area.

Well this is quite an unusual place actually, but if you look about you can find good places...
Europe in general apart from Scandinavia is very restrictive with access to nature areas...
I guess it is because there are fewer than in bigger continents Like America and Australia etc...
Wild camping is possible but often illegal so you need to be quite stealth...

OK here are the pics of our new penthouse substitute the OZTENT.
This is the galley area for those who remember my sink setup... I am not totally satisfied with this setup... as I need to take the sink apart before shutting the doors...
I am hesitating to setup the sink near the sliding door like in lots of conversion vans...
