Thank you,

The Can Am is amazing with the power and suspension travel. 25” travel all around so it eats up terrain like my van gulps fuel.

No dune ride yet, hard pack dirt and mountain trail only so far.

Gonna turn the Can Am into an extension of the exploring element where the van stops, the Can Am goes on.

Not sure where your located but if your interested in some dune riding with other can am riders let me know,I have a bunch of friends with them.ive been holding out for the same model as yours “max” there’s been some talk of a dual clutch transmission,no more belts to snap plus paddle shifters.a lot of people are pulling the back seat and putting in gear boxes/fuel etc for extended range. I currently have some long travel quads but about kill myself tryin to keep up with the sxs riders when their jammin haha

My daughter and I spent Memorial Day weekend in the Mt. Hood National Forest.

This is from a couple weeks ago -- doing radio work at the start control for one of the High Desert Trails Rally stages. Technically I'm not camping in that picture, although I did camp near there on BLM land the night before.

I'm using a Comet 1/2-wave vertical antenna, with an NMO edge mount on the lower driver-side lip of the pop-top. I used a piece of thick aluminum sheet (actually old license plate material) as a stiffener on the inside of the lip. (The antenna isn't really visible in the picture due to background clutter.) The radio is an old Icom IC-207H mounted in the overhead console and connected to the house battery. This setup performed very well, especially with the top raised. The 207H is a real workhorse -- I bought it nearly 20 years ago and it's seen service in five different vehicles!

A view from the inside, out...

No, it's not the SMB anymore, but my new van kills it in just about every other way. It's 1000% better!! LOVING it!
