First time camping in colder weather. Cold at night but it was nice in the day. My van was built with a propane delete so I’m looking at heater options. I might go with the gasoline Espar.

Thanks Otter. I've camped in my van 3 times on that gravel bar and all 3 times I've gotten mice in the van.

Awesome pic. Wondering if it's the same spot we were camped at during the end of August. This spot we camped at was perfect. So quiet and beautiful sitting watching the river all afternoon and into the evening.

Three days in Sequoia National Park in CA 11-2019. I timed it for the storm that dumped 30" while I was there. I did drive right out of that spot with no problems at all. Got there with zero snow and it all fell during my visit. Other photos are why I go. Click the thumbnails to see full images.

Yes, while I'm in it. Happens every once in a while.

Thanks Oly, I saw your post and was wondering the same thing. My pic is from the gravel bar boat launch they call Morgans.

Those are great. Kinda cozy when you wake up to all that snow isn't it?
