I love this photo. Not only is it good but you happen to be in one of my all-time favorite haunts on Mt.Hood. I’ve spent countless hours x-c skiing and snowshoeing, backpacking, and hiking out there. Every season is great. And you always have that gorgeous mountain in view. Ahhhh... thanks for posting.

Secret spot, Baja...

Many miles of dirt road across dry lakes and up and down valleys to get to the beach.
Nice and secluded, the way I like it! Amazing beach combing and fish that haven't seemed to have seen a hook before...

Another, not so secret spot but very popular with the kids! Drive out to the point at low tide, camp on an island at high tide!

Easter weekend is the time of year when everyone in Mexico who can, goes to the beach. This can result in a zoo at the end of any dirt road that ends at the water's edge. If anyone ever asks what 4wd gets you, this is it. Air down the tires, slip it into 4x4, and head a quarter of a mile down the beach to a nice sand dune and have the whole beach to yourself!

So nice! I'm jealous.

And, "secret"?! I can't turn down a Baja challenge like that. PMing you my guess I think I've been close to there, but not quite. On my to-do list.

A couple weeks ago in Colorado. I had ten different camps there around the San Juans, most like this.

Finally got the new rig out after working on it for the last several weeks straight. Still have ALOT to do, but it's campable at this point.
Shes new to me, but I'm happy to find it, looked for months before the right one came up.
Interior was stripped when I got it, have been constantly building since she got home. Waiting on parts- need to finish the wiring, install the new roof rack, jackknife seat, and punchlist items..

Anyway, happy to use it for the first time!
