It’s also getting pretty beat up from the sxs crowd so most don’t venture this far past the parking lot.

We finally got out after about a year without the van getting used. We’re in Idyllwild for some hiking.

We had a rack failure on the way up. The Thule mounts holding the bikes on top of the Aluminess box failed and the bikes flopped backwards. Luckily the bikes stayed attached and didn’t hit anyone behind us. And there was no other damage to the van. The bikes will ride in the van on the way home. We were only 3 miles from camp when this happened.

I’ll be looking into the new bike swing arm once we get home.
