The fact that places like this exist blows my mind. I guess we have similar places in Tennessee though, but they are discount tobacco stands.

i remember seeing pix from member salines gallery and pming him for info about these springs when i first joined this forum. the different pools and "spots" look amazing. are these pools hot water? what exactly is this area? camping, nudist colony, or just regular camping spots?? is it easy to get in there and enjoy these pools or is it usually pretty busy?
ive tried finding info about them online, but most info i find is secondhand and not really focused on providing info but rather telling about adventures others have had in that area.

Yes, hot springs. Not a regulated campsite, first come first served. Like many spots in and around Death Valley, it's cared for by folks who use it.. honor system like.
There will be nudity, although not everyone. The road is fairly long, but not bad, depending on how bad the washboard is.
It is often busy, definitely during holiday weekends, etc.. but as you can see in this picture, not always.

There's two areas, middle and upper, or middle and lower, something like that. There's three or four at the lower one, and I recall only one more natural pool at the upper one.
Summer is super hot, winter can be cold. Midweek would be your best bet, spring or fall.
