Salvage Sportsmobile-might save this Ram

Picked up this 1996 Ram 3500 Sportsmobile. Put it up for sale but considering going through and fixing it as it’s really not terrible overall other than the rocker rust/damage. Runs and drives well.

248k, RB30, interior in really good shape for the year, 10 gallons fresh water, grey water, propane, heat, both seats swivel, etc

Couple trips in the canvas up front but the top works flawless. If it wasn’t a Dodge I’d 100 percent save it and send it to U-joint and build it out to 4x4!

I’ve got the ability to do all the work and get it back on the road for someone to enjoy, just not the time!

Already have a built 4x4 Chevy Express Sportsmobile but considering doing this one. Call me crazy

That rust says NFW!
I’m all about saving vans but that’s bad. Where you gonna get rockers etc?

Yeah, sorry to say it, but that van is pretty rough. The top doesn't look good, with holes and stains. And that looks like mold on the ceiling.

This would be a wonderful thing to run, don't walk, away from as quickly and as far as you're able ASAP!

That thing's a frickin' mess!!!!
