The seat belt pre-tensioner bracket is designed so that it can be used on either the driver side or passenger side. There are 4 holes in the bracket however only three line up with the seat at any one time.

BTW, I reached out to Scheel Mann today to ask them about their seat heater option. I love heat on the small of my back, but I absolutely hate it on "my" seat. Scheel got back to me today (props to them for that quick customer service) and said that the back rest heat pad and the seat cushion heat pad are separate connectors and that I could just not connect the seat cushion heat pad to keep from heating that cushion. For me, that's great news, but I would also consider two switches in case someone else would want both on.

No plans to buy and Scheel Mann seats at the current time, but I'm looking a couple of years to the future and want to know my options.

I've installed a few in various applications. I have two of them in the Cummins van (but new owner doesn't want them so they may be for sale soon). What would you like to know?

If I go with a service body or ambulance conversion in the next year or two, I'm trying to rationalize buying a driver's and passenger's Scheel Mann seat, but I would also need a removable second passenger seat for when our son would travel with us (that window is undoubtedly closing soon though since he's in high school). It's hard enough for me to justify spending this much on two seats, but adding in a third is even tougher. On the flip side though, a removable seat brings other challenges, first-off the seatbelt. I would then also need a reliable way to install and deinstall it as necessary.


Does the integrated belt change the seatback at all (width, comfort...)?

The integrated belt seats that I've been in don't feel any different than the non-seatbelt seat of the same style. The integrated belt seats don't have the quick-release seat back latch for folding forward (like when you get out of the back seat of a 2-door) but they can still recline a bit with the adjuster knob. I'm not sure about lumbar and bolster adjustment options...It's been a long time since I spec'd any seats out, I can't remember what the option limitations are.
