Sure does look nice. Love the repainted engine bay.

I'm curious which aluminum radiator you went with and the fit.

Cool, I'll be interested in the fit and how well it works out for you.

Since you are doing an EGR delete are you also replacing the up-pipe? The are known to crack once you remove the support of the EGR cooler. I'm looking at this one but not sure I'll have it ceramic coated which some think helps with heat. http://www.rudysdiesel.com/_e/Turbo_Upg ... ellows.htm

Re: Sheriffdoug's Sportsmobile Engine Rebuild

Any reason why them Doug? Although mine is a newer stock version,
I'm looking at replacement later this year if I can justify a reason to
replace one that's only a couple years old. I also have the Starcool
so size might be an issue with the added fans. Any added cooling on
the 6.0 would be worth the change.

daveb,

Did not want the factory OEM with plastic tanks, top & bottom of the radiator.
All aluminium, bigger tanks, top & bottom, better heat dispersal.

These radiators are used in racing engines.
With bonnet vents, Air scoop under front bumper, better radiator, fan programming with JCT Tuner, no hard revving, engine will run cooler.
Racing, not something I am interested in.

Cheers, Doug
