In college I had a 1975 Westy but I don't have pictures handy. I'll have to dig some up later. That was the first "hit" that got me addicted to camper vans.
I has diesel rabbits in high school. One had the ac removed and there were holes through the fire wall. I took a very soft spoken girl on a date to mount Brighton. 10 minutes into the drive, I'd just nod and smile when she spoke because i couldn't hear a thing she said.
My folks had just converted to natural gas, so there were 500 gallons of free gas in the basement.
