Me Eric? I'm not sure of any other Erics except KTMrider and maybe Shuttlepilot I think. Who do you mean? If me, I haven't really had that many. Mostly just the Fords that anyone around here very long has seen.
Back in the days when she supported my 2-wheeled play I had one just like this, a gray G20 with rally wheels and a 305. I loved this van.

Nice guys!
Yes you Eric, seeing as how lots of vans have come and gone through your possession, hence they would be old vans to you....but not quite what I had in mind....[emoji39]

Man I’d give anything to have a pic of the van that started it all for me. My grandparents bought an old plumbers van; Dodge with a fiberglass high top. I rode home in the back when my grandad bought it. No seats and no seat belts. I stood sideways in the back like I was surfing.
My grandmother was from a family of carpenters. She built doll houses for all my girl cousins. (Back when doll houses were for girls only) She built out the entire van as my grandfather was working one more year or so before retirement.
She did the “RB50” layout. Cabinets down the side behind the driver’s seat. It had a fridge, a camp toilet, it was incredible.
My entire extended family doesn’t have a picture of it! I can’t believe it.
Oh well, I have tons of pics of my Westy....

I was hoping Ultralite would show off his amazing bus. He's being humble. Closer pics would show it's show car perfection. It's one of the best I've ever seen and I love it every time I get to camp near him and drool over it.
Funny how so many SMB types started with VW busses, or still have them.

The 1979 Ford extended cargo van we converted in 1990 and camped with for 10 years.

Len, I vote that you get the lifetime achievement award! Who's with me? I love all of the pics you've shown us over the years of how you guys have been van camping your whole lives. It's great stuff. Many of us have the memories but no pictures to go with them as you do.
