Showing off :)

My sister crocheted a spare cover to match my van, so I decided to showcase it front-and-center. I installed a front receiver and used the Draw-Tite 6715 carrier because it has a less extreme angle than the other ones out there. I'm thrilled with the results! The 33" tire looks HUGE out front, but I dig it. Kind of a throwback to the old VW vans. Just had to share!

Its a great looking cover for sure. Curious what the tire + cover do to your engine temps since it looks like 3/4 of the grill is now covered ?

I considered that...but since the wheel is full of holes and the cover is just yarn, i'm hoping airflow won't be restricted too much. I haven't taken it on a long drive since putting it on, but I'll be keeping my eye on the gauge.

That does look kinda cool, no pun intended.

I'm wondering how durable it'll be---will it hold up to on-the-road use?

My sister has had one on her van for years, and the nylon yarn holds up great! When it gets dirty, it just goes into the washing machine

Hope no one thinks it's a target and aims their car at you. Looks nice, showed it to my wife but I don't think she took the hint.

I was looking for a design I liked for my rear tire cover to replace a hockey theme cover that was on my B when I bought it. After looking a while without being impressed with any I bought white so maybe I can talk her into doing something with it.

Monitor your coolant temps going uphill.
