Ok, had nothing to do today.. so i pulled both hubs open and noticed that they both were in great condition. I also talked to Ever in the 4x4 tech at SMB yesterday and he said look at the spring. He also told me that our 2003 didn't have the shaved section for the hub that the newer trucks do. Starting in about late 2004-2005 they started to mill down the warn hub. The spring appeared to be fine, but the star tooth piece that sits under the spring appears to be jammed and compressed into the back of the hub case face. This is probably why it's not engaging because the assembly cant catch a tooth. Everything appears fine. I will check with SMB and Warn on monday and see if i can get a replacement for just the hub case only.
