Re: The Yeti (My first Post as a SMB owner)
A few updates. I have changed several of the lights to LEDs. I am thinking of just replacing the fluorescent ones all together with a LED fixtures I saw at the RV place. I have installed my 7-pin plug for the trailer, axe and a place to plug my portable solar into. I am working on a onboard air. I can see why the Baja Box is so popular. I may have to switch to Aluminess as the company that makes the one I have now will not return my messages. I hope to take it out again soon. Really liking everything so far.
You can see the solar connected and the black ladder:

Re: The Yeti (My first Post as a SMB owner)
Howdy! Nice ride, I've got the same setup, '03 7.3L RB50 w/Quigley 4X4, just swapped over from SMB manual low profile top to a CCV high profile top though. I also got our rig with low miles on it, granted that was ~8 years, 60,000 miles...and $XX,XXX ago.
Anyway, thought I'd chime in about your rear bumper, I've got the same there as well, Reunel, I personally wouldn't swap it for an Aluminess, especially just to put on a Baja box, I'm adding an aluminess box to our rig, just mounting it on reunel's swing away jerry can open rack, just cutting off the sides of the rack and having a support frame built to hold the box. For the record, I put on an aluminess front bumper, so nothing against them, they make good stuff, but their rear bumper is nowhere near as bomber as our Reunel, especially for towing, plus I think they look better.... Have a great time with it, see you out there sometime.

Re: The Yeti (My first Post as a SMB owner)
REF,
Nice Rig. Thanks for the information. I have emailed them about the second swing-out, but have not heard anything back. Maybe I will try and give them a call. If I can get the swing-out, I can make the box work. I do a little welding on the side.

Re: The Yeti (My first Post as a SMB owner)
A few updates:
I did not want to have my remotes showing, so following a tread from hear or Expo I made this contraption:
What it looks like installed:
Now I have 12v power to this area, I wonder if I can find a way not to need batteries?
My HAM Radio install. I want it simple and the antenna was already installed:
That is it for now.

I heard that Reunel was out of business, but I don't know if that's true or not.

Re: The Yeti (My first Post as a SMB owner)
Salivan,
Yes that is Lum's. I will say I was disappointed in the BBQ. It was just ok.
Thanks for the information. That would explain why I have not heard anything.

Re: The Yeti (My first Post as a SMB owner)
Which remote did you integrate? It looks like a garage remote taped to a key fob remote...

Re: The Yeti (My first Post as a SMB owner)
It was garage and my gate remote. They are far enough away that I have them both activated with one button. I did not want to drill two holes.

Thats awesome. I would have never thought to just use the same button. I've seen threads for this mod on a few different forums. I think I'll try it on my new van.
