That thing was dangerous to get into. The ladder was very wobbly and the step was narrow. It made an old guy like me very nervous to get into it.

Re: UJOR V4 @ SEMA

I went to SEMA to get some inside pictures of the Fuso, but it was not open. Alan Feld was there alone and couldn't watch that vehicle and the orange SMB. Bummer. But I did get the questions I had about my own rig answered by Alan. By the way, that's Alan leaning against the Fuso in pjpvi's third picture of the Fuso. Here's a couple of more shots of the SMB rigs.

Here are some vehicles with the tents on the top. There are a lot of these out there.

And there were a lot of big rigs. Here's a few:

And a teeny tiny rig. I should have had someone stand next to it so you can tell how small it is. I had to bend down to take a picture through the front windshield.

And the famous Storm Chaser car from the television show.

And, I'm sure, the ever popular portable beer rig.

Hi Mac,

I think what you are referring to is actually the SMB Fuso concept rig, not U-Joint Off Road's V4/XPCamper.

Thanks for the pics of all the different rigs.

Brent

Re: UJOR V4 @ SEMA

That was my wife, and she's not a salesperson! As I said in the other thread, the steps are temp, rushed to get done before the show. Will be replaced as soon as I get home.

And she happens to be 7.5 months pregnant, no problems getting up and down the temp steps so far.

I kept the camper closed most of he show for several reasons. One was the constant noise of shredding tires, the smoke was another, and I was trying to work too anyone who showed interest got invited in, I didn't want everyone coming in & out for 4 days.
