Hi.
Only the front part of the van is converted, the side doors stay on the port side. None of the camper part is changed.
Driving on the right side of the road is quite challenging, having driv'n on the left all my life.
These vans are rather large too. When I got the Silverado 2500hd 6.7 diesel a few years ago and drove it left hand drive on left side of our roads, for two months, that was challenging too, as when you pass another vehicle, your sitting on the wrong side(to us anyway). Paralell parking is fun too.
On my last trip to the US, 6 weeks, 11,000 miles, three times I came out of carparks turning left into oncoming traffic. You move very quickly! It's like trying to speak a foreign language. As a kid you cycle & walk here on the left, so it's part of your DNA.
I am going to continue with US licensing, Sth Dakota/cheap $115 and Western Australian vehicle license/$750 per annum. So, when vehicle goes to UK/Europe, I 'll pick the easiest to use.

I don't think it's possible to move the motor... Because they're offset on a van. But who knows maybe someone is very creative out there.

How much does it cost to ship a SMB to New Zealand? My bucket list includes some exploration in the southern hemisphere.

G'day DosMars,
Shipping to Auckland, for my 08 Ford eb50 6.0 with Aluminess roofrack(99"h), front & rear Aluminess barwork, is us$2550, oneway. Return shipping back to US, I guess could be about us$4700.
My shipping company is Schumacher Cargo Logistics, warren@sclusa.com
This shipping is via Seacontainer. My smb is 99" high, door height of high top seacontainer is 101". If you have no Aluminess roofrack, you will fit lower cheaper standard seacontainer. Freight pricing is quoted on cubic mass & weight. There will be fees at NZ port on arrival and all vehicles are fumigated and thoroughly clean inside & out, with no animal or vegtable matter, no insects particularly. Vehicle for shipping has to be empty of all fluids, water, propane, but not gasolene/diesel. Check with Shipper.
Cheers Doug

Bought, Truck Vault, Shot Lock CCW on net, two weeks ago and arrived today.
Very solid well built. Have been looking for slim safe to conceal with mechanical combination lock, no batteries. Not for gun, just documents & stuff. Internal
9" x 5" x 2", wonderfully built. Anyone got something similar?

Eric, It looks close in seacontainer, but its actually 11 inches to the roof of seacontainer and 3.5 inches on each side, but on loading through the doors there was 3.25" to spare. Pretty tight. Each wheel is chocked and chained.
