2019 Overland Expo -

Who is going? Sportsmobile Village make parking much easier if you get on Jonathan's list at SMB West.much more relaxed than sleeping and camping with the masses elsewhere. Just sayin' it was very nice the next couple of days. No hassles leaving or getting back in although I stayed they whole time and only left for some mountain bike riding that was stellar.

How does one get on that list?

Contact Peter DelTorro at SMB West. Nice place to stay, we were there last year, but I believe they only hold spots for Sportsmobile badged vehicles.

I give up. So far no information on what is a Sportsmobile village? A time, a place, a gathering, …?

Try calling Brian Furrow at SMB West.

SMB gets an area in the park where they let us camp, separate from the "normal" camping. They also have a few demo vans and gear for sale. It's nice because it's not nearly as crowded as the general camping and it's close to the vendor area.

I just got an email from Overland Expo, and it looks like the only camping passes available are motorcycle passes. Day passes are still available, though.

I stayed in the SMB village last year and it's way, way better than what I saw the conditions were like in the general camping area. People there complained about not being able to get out at all once they found a spot.

I'll be driving by you guys. I actually thought the stars might align for a day trip but looks like I'll be headed straight from Phoenix to Montana for work this weekend.
