2023 Northwest Meet and Greet June 23rd-25th Macks Canyon campground.

All are welcome at the first Meet and Greet of the year.
Macks Canyon Campground is roughly 100 miles east of Portland Oregon's {as crow flys} in the Deschutes Gorge area down a 15-mile BLM dirt road on a bend of the Deschutes River. 2WD accessible. Looks like an amazing place.

If you haven't been to one of these it is a great way to meet people you see on the forum and just all a round great group of like minded people enjoying the great outdoors. Once there we can plan day trips to the surrounding areas with the vans as well as hiking or just hanging out.
BYO food drinks and anything else you need for your trip, nothing will be provided.

If you're planning on coming PM me so I can get a count. or feel free to call me.
I look forward to seeing old friends as well as making new ones.

Greetings -- I am planning on attending this meet and greet so long as the wheels don't fall off !? Coming from Georgia - 2002 SMB E350 - V10 -

I'm only suggesting here - but at an East Coast M&G last October - I suggested that folks post their Forum "handle" in the front window of their van - to help other folks remember who belongs to what van. It seemed to work pretty good - I had never met any of the attending folks before -- and I'm pretty much brain dead at this stage of my life !! -- so anything helps me with names and faces ! Looking forward to the event !

I approve of this message and am bummed that it's 2500 miles away and I'm probably working.

@doublevan, that's a great idea. Having been to a few meet n greets most people you meet give you their real name and you leave knowing new people but never remembering who is who from the forum. The bigger the gathering the tougher it is.

Mack’s Canyon is a BLM Campground so there are some rules. See this post on the other thread so you know what the campground costs are, fishing and boating rules, etc., https://www.sportsmobileforum.com/fo...tml#post319901.

Even though the official dates for the M&G are F/S/S June 23-25th some of us will be coming in a few days early to try and secure multiple campsites.

Am looking forward to meeting all of you there.
