9 Day working road trip to San Fran from San Diego

Couple weeks back I took a working road trip to San Francisco from San Diego using the van as my office and motorhome for 9 days.

The goal was to shoot landscape images from the air and ground up the coast on Highway 1 as much as possible, complete my 3 day building shoot in San Francisco and come back basically the same route.

I left Saturday morning and made it to Morro Bay just before sunset. Shot a few images before dark, grabbed dinner and crashed out boondock style. Day two coming.

Sorry for the watermarks, we have our images stolen everyday in ways I never imagined so I don't take chances anymore....

Woke up the next morning and had little breakfast while watching the sun come up over the Rock. Shot for a few hours around the area and then drove to Paso Robles to charter a chopper.

Took a couple hour flight from Paso to Morro Bay and back. Spent the first part of the flight shooting fault lines for an oil company and then rest of time sightseeing.

Spectacular weather on this trip.

man, great shots. would love to take a spin in a chopper that wasnt lifeflight, lol.

what is the first shot in your second post of? I assume its some kind of shot from the chopper, but I cant tell what it is.

That is a shot of the sand dunes in Morro Bay. For some reason it pixelated on upload and looks a little strange. If you look close there was someone walking on the beach.

Spent the night in Paso Robles in front of a friends house and left about 4:30am to head up to Monterrey. Hit the San Simeon area first around 5:30 or so and only took a few quick picks on the way up to the Watsonville Airport to catch my next aerial flight.

Absolutely beautiful stuff. I'm also jealous of getting a helicopter ride, I've never been.

So you like having watermarks on your pictures, so you decided to put one on your SMB too?
