Adams River Salmon!

If you find yourself in the Kamloops BC area in late September through October, you might like to check out one of the largest Salmon runs in the world at Adams River. The run cycles in size year to year and this is the big year. We are heading up in early October since it is Canadian Thanksgiving in the middle of the month.

Camping at the really nice (full service) Shuswap Lake Provincial Park is available at Scotch Creek B.C. You can also semi boondock it at the Adams River Provincial Park.

Re: Adams River Salmon!

Thanks for the tip. I have visited the Adams River in the summer, but never in September or October.

Now I just need more time off from work. Or maybe just retire!
