Not disappointed, just didn't know if she was back from the rock pile...!
thought we were going to hit the road this afternoon but our dog had other plans. Sharon was at my brothers house and I was getting the van ready for the road. Toby our dog had a panic attack with Sharon being gone and took off on me. I had half the neighbors and local PD helping in getting him back home, it took almost two hours but finally successful. Now I'm too pooped to leave so we will leave in the morning.

I’ll likely stop by both days. Looking forward to getting out of the smoke in Marin. It was so bad last weekend we followed the good air up to the west peak of Mt. Tamalpais, hiked and watched the fog roll in. Here’s a pic of our van from this weekend; stop by and say hi if you see us at the Expo. David

This was actually a pretty cool event...except for the smoke.
Met Sam (Sloya) - the only other pop-top - and a bunch of people who were excited to see something other than a sprinter or promaster.
There was one other non-pop-top sportsmobile (fisrt photo second van from the left) that was camping and we saw 5 or 6 pop-top sportsmobiles in the adjacent parking lot that visited for the day.

The self-built sprinter next to us on the right has the best built interior we've seen on any van.
L-track on the roof + walls allowed a modular layout.
80-20 cabinet with sliding doors.
Ladder to access the roof rack to lounge in the bean bag.

We're the Russo's were there for Storyteller Overland...
OverlandGearGuy was there.
Aluminess was there and helped Sam fix his rear bumper.
Saw some interesting van ideas...but very few van conversions actually fit someone 76" tall...sleeping or standing.

mixflip was there on sunday and has a video =
