It was a fun event with lots of folks to talk to, stuff to see and ideas to borrow. Dave (the founder of Aluminess) was there and we had a fun conversation with him and learned among other things that he is building a new production facility in Idaho. He hopes to dramatically reduce wait times for his products once they get up and running. We also talked with Bob from Off road safety academy about the rescue of the rolled over SMB in Canyon lands. I expect to update that thread very soon, with the full story and more photos. Anyway, my friend Bill (7oaks here) and I spent many summers riding dirtbikes near by, and he had a family cabin there too, so it was like old times exploring the area. After the event, we headed further into the mountains and ended up camping along the Blackwood canyon road in a spot with a view of the Rubicon trail where we were entertained by guys running the trail at night. All in all it was a fun weekend.............
