Anyone headed to Baja this year?

Hey Phil, sorry to have missed you! Met and traveled with some other folks headed down the PanAm too! Keep an eye out, Wayward Travelers, Roan and Karrie, they’re in a Ram Promaster, good peeps.
We’re just outside of Mulegé now, coming from a couple of days out on the beach at Punta Chivato. Here’s a few pics of our journey in Baja so far. It’s been great and keeps getting better further south.
San Felipe.....

Coco’s corner.....and there’s Coco! I helped him fix his new LED lights out on the poles. What a treat to finally meet the legend, he wasn’t there the last time we went through. The new MX 5 is now complete, save for a couple of bridges they’re completing over the washes, and it now bypasses Coco’s, he’s got a few signs out on 5, make sure to head in the few miles to go give him a visit, grab a beer, coke or water say hi and sign his book.

To the Mission....the desert scenery is pretty spectacular!

Mission San Francisco de Borja...

Jose and his family spent many years rebuilding this place, he’s been out there for over 60 years! My second time out there, we even spent the night, it was a really great experience, again!

More to come.......

EDIThotos aren’t loading right, will have to try again when in better service, dang it!

Well, it seems I can no longer edit my own post......and maybe I’m limited to the number of photos I can add to one post, here’s the missing photos from the one above, see if this works.....

Yes, would have been nice to meet up. I'm bumping into a lot of people doing all or part of the trek to the bottom. Everyone is extremely nice (travelers and locals alike). Make friends, leave friends, repeat over and over.

Currently north of Mexico City in extremely thick fog waiting for it to lift before driving. Those Baja pics makes me want to be there at the exact moment again!

Gutas Tolantongo yesterday was simply amazing!
