BML Land overlay for Google Earth

I came across this thread and thought I would share.

It contains a link to download a KMZ file that when opened in Google Earth shows where BLM land is located.

Now, if some map savy person can export the data so I can import into into Gaia GPS it would really make my day.

Here's a direct link to the Google Earth overlay from that forum: BLM.kmz

And, here's a related one that I use that has *all* federal lands, not just BLM: FedLands.kmz

Re: BML Land overlay for Google Earth

I purchased the BLM overlay for the Backcountry Navigator I have on my tablet. Believe it's only available for 11-12 Western state, but great info to have.

You shod be as to do it yourself using the free software Babel. You first must export the file from Google Earth as a kml file, then you can convert it as a gpx file in Babel, then import it in Gaia... ;-)
