Bridger-Teton National Forest trip/photos

I spent about 5 days wandering around the western side of Wyoming from Evanston up to Jackson and then to Pinedale and Big Piney and back down to Evanston where I'm doing some work. In between all that is the Bridger-Teton National Forest where I did some dispersed camping. Here's a few photos/descriptions of the trip.

Here's Gannett Peak(center of photo)which is the highest point in Wyoming(13,804ft)

Gannett Peak as seen from Green Lake

Part of the Wyoming Range

Doing a little hiking

Here's a few different campsites

A couple of guest in the campsite

A waterfall from a distance

The same waterfall just a little closer

This was just a lunch break so I used some of Mother Natures furniture instead of setting up my tables

There were Mountain Goats and Big Horn Sheep in the area but I'm not sure which one these guys belong to but they were very curious

As I was hiking down a trail this gal came charging out of the brush about 50ft in front of me and I think we were both equally startled. She took off up the trail so I dropped my walking stick and the apple I was eating and fumbled for my camera in my pack and took off after her. Like flash she disappeared so after about 15 minutes I headed back down the trail. Now I got back to that spot where I saw her and found the walking stick but the apple was gone. So I backed off the trail a ways and just kinda hung out for about 30 minutes and sure enough she came right back out of those bushes...kinda like she was looking for another apple.

Just trying a litte close up photography

I'll post a few more when I get a chance.

Thanks for everyones comments!

That's too bad Scatter. I didn't get a chance to hollar at ya when I was in the Feather River Canyon. I've heard a lot of hoo-ha about Jackson and Jackson Hole so I made it a point to at least drive through and check it out. You can tell there's some big money around there. Maybe we'll catch you down the road another time.
