Re: City of Rocks

I haven't been to the City of Rocks but I have family in Burley. I have heard of some adventure riding on Mt. Independence.

The Southern Hills have a worthy trail system. If your passing through Twin check out Auger Falls. It is in the canyon near the bridge. Only 15 min or so off I84, and right next to town. It is fun to explore and a good place to ride for a couple hours- lots of loop options.

Re: City of Rocks

I'm not a serious mountain biker. I know nothing about the bike trails. I hiked a few of them on the trip but didn't pay attention where you can bike and where you can't.

It didn't look like the trails I hiked on would allow bikes, but I'm sure there are trails nearby by that would.

is mt independence or southern hills in either of the parks, or are they just in the immediate area? ill go poke around some maps and see if i can find either. were mainly looking for stuff in the parks so we can see the sights.

if we have time we might go this route. i do really like that canyon, and i never have an issue watching the crazies huck themselves off that bridge, lol.
